Double degree student wins double digit cash prize with h2go
Winner Week 8 – Kelly Ussher
*****
Dunedin graduate Kelly Ussher is no longer just another ‘poor student’ with a huge student loan after winning $10,000
with the h2go snapped for cash promotion.
The 25 year old perpetual student is currently in the middle of a three year Bachelor of Medical Imaging degree having
already completed a four year Bachelor of Science degree at Dunedin University. With a big student loan to match her big
degrees Kelly is naturally thrilled to be this week’s $10,000 H2go winner.
“A family friend phoned in a panic on Sunday night to tell me to turn to TV2 as he thought I had won $10,000. So I sat
on the edge of the couch through two lots of ads until finally my picture appeared. At first it didn’t really sink in
that I had won, I was still far too calm.” Kelly said.
Kelly is enjoying her radiography studies but is looking forward to getting into the workforce at the end of 2009 after
what will be a total of seven years as a student. She plans on saving the money until she has finished her second degree
and then she wants to travel overseas before settling into the working world back in New Zealand.
“I still can’t believe I won, it didn’t really sink in until the h2go representative called me to say congratulations
and then asked for my bank account details, that was when it finally hit home that I was $10,000 richer.” Kelly said.
Now into the ninth and final week of the promotion the h2go undercover photographers are still out there searching for
more h2go drinkers to turn into lucky winners. All of the photos have been placed on www.snappedforcash.co.nz and go
into the draw to win a weekly prize of $10,000 over nine weeks. The photos currently on the website will all be
re-entered into the remaining draw.
Kelly is the eighth winner of the h2go Snapped for Cash promotion with one further draw to take place on the 16th March
at 8.20pm on TV2.
h2go was the first New Zealand mineral water to be bottled in a sippertop pack, and is one of the largest on the go
lifestyle water brands in New Zealand.
