REINZ before Select Committee Tomorrow
The Real Estate Institute of New Zealand will appear before the Justice and Electoral Select Committee tomorrow, Thursday, 13 March between 9.15am and 10.15am to give evidence on the Real Estate Agents Bill 2007.
The REINZ Industry Training Organisation will follow REINZ, and has been allocated 15 minutes.
“REINZ has submitted an extensive and detailed written submission because our members are relying on the select committee process to remedy what we see as some very serious practical issues with the Bill as now drafted,” REINZ National President Murray Cleland said.
The REINZ delegation will be led by Mr Cleland and will comprise the National Vice President, Mike Elford, the immediate Past President, Howard Morley, the CEO, Christine Le Cren and REINZ’s legal adviser on the Bill, Mai Chen from Chen Palmer.
