Free Expo Helps Business Smarten Up Their Data
Getting a jump start on your competitor through accurate customer address data and more powerful mail marketing are just two topics covered by free Data Quality Expo hosted by New Zealand Post.
New Zealand Post General Manager Sales and Service, John Marshall, says organisations wanting to get smarter about their customer information, will get a chance to talk to industry representatives first hand at the Expo.
“The Expo will show how organisations can save money by reducing the waste associated with ‘gone no addressed mail’, and building address updating habits into their systems.
“We’ll also talk about growth opportunities because once a database is up to date, organisations can add in segmentation and insight tools to help them better understand their customers,” said Mr Marshall.
Mr Marshall says New Zealand Post has been working closely with its bulk mail customers over the last year and-a-half to make sure they are ready for changes in its bulk mailing requirements which come into effect on 1 July 2008.
“We know most are thinking about what they need to do but some need a bit of help starting the process – the ability to talk to a host of different providers as well as other business mailers in one day should help them jumpstart their address update planning.”
The Expo will feature presentations from companies like Guardian Trust, Pumpkin Patch and Loyalty New Zealand who have used better data to get a more competitive edge and brings together data service providers ranging from information technology providers, to mail houses and envelope manufacturers, to display their wares and update audiences about the need for better address data.
The Expo runs from 9am to 5pm at the Wellington Convention Centre in Wellington on 12 March and at the same times on 14 March at the Sky City Convention Centre in Auckland. To register visit www.nzpost.co.nz/dataqualityexpo
