Who says no high-end dining on Mondays?
(Auckland – 5 February 2008)
Food lovers who can’t wait until Tuesday for a high-end dining experience will soon be able to dine at Partingtons at The Langham on Mondays.
The restaurant will begin dinner service on Monday evenings from 25 February 2008.
This breaks the international trend many restaurants follow (along with local favourites such as The French Café, Vinnies and Merediths) of keeping their doors closed on Mondays.
Partingtons restaurant manager Alan Voong says: “There are so many restaurants closed on Monday. It breaks my heart to turn people away because we’re shut and as we’re now more established, it seemed a natural progression to open on Monday.”
Partingtons is the current New Zealand Restaurant of the Year awarded by the NZ Culinary Fare 2006 and 2007. The restaurant also holds the current best service and best wine list awards from the Metro Corbans Restaurant of the Year.
From 25 February 2008 Partingtons will be open for dinner from 6.00pm Monday – Saturday. The restaurant is also available for private dining.
For reservations phone 0800 61 62 61.
