Former Honda Executive To Head Up Kia In New Zealand
Fast growing Korean car manufacturer Kia Motors has appointed former Honda executive Todd McDonald to head up its operations in New Zealand.
Mr McDonald takes up the position of General Manager at Kia Motors New Zealand, succeeding John Keenan, who saw the company through it first phase of growth under Korean ownership.
Kia says it selected Mr McDonald because of his wide experience, as well as his enthusiasm to see the company continue its growth and development in this market.
A 20-year veteran of the motor industry, Mr McDonald has spent much of that time with Honda, including a three year stint in Japan and was most recent Agent (dealer) Develop Manager for Honda New Zealand.
