BuyUSA: Kiwis enjoying online shopping in the USA
Thanks to the recently launched service from BuyUSA.co.nz Kiwis no longer need an airline ticket and a healthy baggage allowance to enjoy shopping in the U.S.A. Since the launch of the web based service last October BuyUSA members have been importing a wide range of products. Including iphones, car parts, sports equipment, clothing and shoes. BuyUSA customers have cited the wide choice of products and the substantial savings versus buying the same or similar items locally as the key benefits of the service.
Members also now have the ability to share shopping tips and buying experiences via the BuyUSA member’s forum. The vast majority of U.S. based online retailers will not offer international orders or international shipping. For a small annual fee BuyUSA gives New Zealanders their very own street address in the USA, allowing them to shop online at websites that would not otherwise ship to New Zealand.
Customers can use their BuyUSA street address as the delivery address when ordering online from U.S. websites. BuyUSA receive deliveries on behalf of their members at their U.S. logistics facility and then enter details of the packages received into the customer’s online virtual mailbox. Using secure logon customers can view the details of the items received in their mailbox and then provide BuyUSA with the information that is required to air freight the products to New Zealand.
They then have the choice to ship their purchases individually or hold items in storage and combine later with more purchases into a single international shipment. This feature provides substantial savings on the international air freight costs. When the shipments arrive in New Zealand BuyUSA will take care of the customs clearance formalities and deliver the shipments via courier. For more information visit www.buyusa.co.nz.
