Bravo! The Fiat 500 Is The Most Beautiful!

Praised for its cute, and even sexy, good looks, the new Fiat 500 is now also officially beautiful, indeed, the most
beautiful because it has not only won the small/city car award in the “Auto più Bella del Mondo 2008” search for the
most beautiful cars in the world, it also scored the most points overall to give it the top award.
Confirming the skill of Fiat’s designers, the Grand Jury of the Auto più Bella del Mondo, which consists of artists
(Pietro Consagra, Piero Dorazio, Heinz Mack and Joe Tilson), architects (Vico Magistretti and Massimo Vignelli),
designers (Roberto Sambonet and Carlo Chiti) lead by author and designer, Bruno Alfieri, put the Fiat Bravo, newly
launched in New Zealand, in third place overall and winner of the medium hatchback category.
“Beauty is really going to be on the Fiat agenda in early 2008,” says Lawrie Malatios, General Manager for Fiat in New
Zealand. “The Fiat Bravo has already brought its beauty to the roads of New Zealand and it will be followed in March by
the Fiat 500. But these new cars also have the brains to back up their beauty, with five star EuroNCAP safety, something
some much larger cars cannot match, and advanced diesel and petrol engines to put them at the forefront of economy and
low emissions. At Fiat, Beauty and Brains do come together!”
