Discovery 3 reigns supreme
For the third year in succession Land Rover has won the prestigious Australia's Best Cars All Terrain 4WD of the Year
Award with the Discovery 3.
The Discovery 3 TDV6 added to its success in 2005 and 2006 by beating tough competition, from Mitsubishi and Toyota, to
once again claim the top spot in 2007. The award is made by Australia's seven state and territory Automobile Clubs.
As "The World's Most Awarded 4WD", the Discovery 3 has now received nearly 100 awards in 17 countries globally,
including this award - a record 3 years in a row.
The Australian Best Cars Awards are one of the most exhaustive independent tests in the world. With a strong consumer
focus the comprehensive tests are thorough, practical and objective.
The complex testing is based on 20 criteria, with additional testing of off-road capabilities for the 4WD categories.
Judges compare a range of measurable elements including standard features, interior space, and acceleration and braking,
safety and security features, interior noise levels, pricing, depreciation, running and repair costs and fuel
consumption

By winning Australia's Best Cars All Terrain 4WD of the Year for 2005, 2006 and now 2007, it further proves that the
Discovery 3 is a vehicle in a class of its own. New Zealand's RRP of the 2008 HSE TDV6 is $109,990.
