Pitango Stirs Soup Market With Unique Summer Soup

Pitango Stirs up The New Zealand Soup Market With Unique Summer Soup

Leading organic and free range food company, Pitango, has expanded its range of popular soups with the launch of a unique chilled summer soup, Pitango Gazpacho.

Crafted from capsicums, tomatoes, garlic and herbs with a distinctive chilli kick, the latest creation from Pitango takes its inspiration from sunny Spain where gazpacho is traditionally eaten cold.

Husband and wife team, Yasmin and Ofer Shenhav hope that the launch will show New Zealanders that soup is a healthy, all-year-round option:

‘Soup is not just for those cold, winter nights’, says Yasmin. ‘A chilled soup, like gazpacho, is great on a hot day and makes the perfect addition to any summertime barbeque party. With a splash of vodka this soup can also be transformed into the most incredible Bloody Mary.’

Ofer adds: ‘A major bonus is that you can eat this soup with an entirely clear conscience. Pitango Gazpacho is extremely low fat, low carb and made entirely from organic ingredients, making it an ideal choice for anyone pursuing a healthy lifestyle. We think that it will appeal to a wide range of health-conscious New Zealanders looking to try something a little bit different this summer.’

The launch of Pitango Gazpacho ties in with the introduction of a fresh, new, contemporary style of Pitango packaging.

Pitango Gazpacho can now be purchased from most supermarkets nationwide in 600g packs. RRP is $6.33
