Fiji Welcomes Novotel Hotel To Nadi
Mocambo Hotel Nadi rebranded to Novotel Nadi
Mocambo Hotel Nadi has completed a major $5 million dollar refurbishment and will be rebranded as Novotel Nadi on 30
November, with all accommodation and facilities upgraded to international Novotel standards.
The official opening of Novotel Nadi will take place on the evening of 30 November and will bring together nearly 200
guests, including Mr Paul Richardson, Vice President Accor New Zealand and Fiji, along with partner Mr Kanti Lai Tappoo,
Chairman Upfront Ltd. The hotel will officially be rebranded from Mocambo Hotel Nadi to Novotel Nadi by the Interim
Minister for Tourism Bernadette Rounds Ganilau. Industry and business leaders will also attend and will enjoy
entertainment and cuisine that reflects all Fijian cultures, including a performance by a local children's choir.
The refurbishment encompasses all of the 127 guest rooms, all public areas including the restaurant and bar, reception
and the conference rooms making it Nadi's only international 4 star hotel. The all new interiors strike the perfect
balance between contemporary and traditional Fijian style, from the light and airy new reception area to the quality
furnishings in the rooms. Novotel Nadi creates an inviting, relaxing atmosphere, offers first class service from its
welcoming staff and is the only true resort style hotel in Nadi.
The rooms feature all new quality fabrics and dcor, along with a private patio or balcony, while the restaurant has
undergone a dramatic transformation into a fresh and modern indoor/outdoor dining experience. The extensive conference
facilities have also been fully upgraded and are ideal for corporate guests, meetings, conferences and incentive groups.
General Manager Murray Davison says there has been lots of positive feedback from guests already.
"There has been a lot of very positive comments about the new look and feel, especially from returning guests who are
thrilled with the significant improvement to the hotel. We are excited that all facilities are now up to the global
standards of the Novotel brand, offering such a quality experience for guests."
Novotel Nadi is conveniently located in Nadi just minutes from Nadi International Airport. The hotel is styled on
traditional Fijian architecture and is set amongst 42 acres of tropical gardens. Guests can also enjoy Senakai Day Spa,
swimming pool, floodlit tennis court and a 9-hole golf course.
