Human Synergistics New Zealand Culture Transformation Awards
Leading New Zealandorganisations that have successfully transformed their work place cultures were recognised at the New Zealand Human Synergistics Culture Transformation Awards today.
This year’s award winners are AMP New Zealand, BNZ, MARAC, Plumbing World, and the Business Services Branch of the Ministry of Economic Development.
“We are incredibly pleased to celebrate the success of these organisations in creating and sustaining constructive work cultures. For some the changes have been dramatic and have been achieved over a short time period,” says Shaun McCarthy, Chairman, Human Synergistics, New Zealandand Australia.
“Creating a constructive culture is fundamental to creating a successful organisation, whether that success is organisational growth, innovation, work quality or customer satisfaction,” says McCarthy. “We talk about transforming culture, because that is what happens. Cultural change is not about making superficial or cosmetic adjustments.”
Human Synergistics works with organisations to transform culture. The company is recognised as a world leader in identifying culture, effecting change and measuring the impact. Measuring and identifying the relationship between human behaviours and performance is at the heart of culture change.
Human Synergistics has an unparalleled reputation for the veracity of their research – over 20,000 organisations internationally have based their development on tools provided by Human Synergistics.
“We have built up a comprehensive bank of research over 30 years. This research continues to show that leadership is most significant factor in driving culture and this in turn plays a key role in performance related behaviour in an organisation,” says McCarthy.
The scale of Human Synergistics’ international reach is impressive. “Every two minutes, of every working day, someone, somewhere, in the world is reviewing feedback from Human Synergistics on their organisation’s culture,” says McCarthy.
The Culture Transformation Awards were established by Human Synergistics in 2006. This is the first year that they have been held in New Zealand.
