Give An Allan Scott Gift Box This Christmas
Allan Scott has produced a tasteful gift box that makes a gorgeous Christmas gift idea. Available from early November, customers can grab a box, pick and mix their two favourite Allan Scott wines, and create the perfect surprise for friends and family this festive season.
Entwined in the packaging, Allan Scott took the opportunity to share one or two family tales. For example that fateful Christmas morning in 1992 - the year Cathy Scott received a gorgeous shiny new John Deere tractor from her husband. Now forgiven, but never forgotten, Allan will never hear the end of it!
“Christmas is a special time of year for our family and we wanted to extend the celebration to our customers. Add a personal touch by mixing and matching from our selection of wines and present it in a beautiful tasteful package,” says Allan. “What’s more, it’s a damn sight easier to wrap than a tractor.”
Allan Scott Wines has been producing some of New Zealand’s most impressive wines for 17 years. The family business was formed in 1990, although Allan Scott has been in the wine business for a lot longer, planting the original vineyards in Marlborough in 1973.
Along with Allan and Cathy, the Scott’s three children Victoria, Josh and Sara each play key roles in the business. Working 7 days a week, 52 weeks of the year, winemaking is not their job – it’s their life.
The Christmas twin-pack can be filled with any combination of Allan Scott wines, which include:
• Allan Scott 2007 Sauvignon Blanc
• Allan Scott 2006 Riesling
• Allan Scott 2007 Pinot Gris
• Allan Scott 2006 Pinot Noir
• Allan Scott Blanc de Blancs
• Allan Scott “The Hounds” 2006 Pinot Noir
• Allan Scott “The Moorlands” 2006 Sauvignon Blanc
• Allan Scott “The Wallops” 2006 Chardonnay
• Allan Scott 2006 Chardonnay
Look out for Allan Scott’s Christmas twin-packs in Glengarry stores and selected supermarkets from November.
