Air New Zealand Fashion Week Appoints Impact PR As New PR Agency

Air New Zealand Fashion Week today announced the appointment of Impact PR as its Public Relations agency for 2007/2008.

A boutique event, Air New Zealand Fashion Week is the country’s premier showcase for designers seeking increased international and national profile and sales both within New Zealand and abroad, from the most anticipated runway of the year.

Pieter Stewart, Managing Director for Air New Zealand Fashion Week, is thrilled to have Impact PR on board to help promote this year’s event and says plans are already underway for the Autumn/Winter 2008 Designer Collections

“We look forward to working with the team at Impact PR to ensure the continued success of our local designers in their aim to drive export and domestic sales of New Zealand fashion,” she says.

Impact PR Company Director Fleur Revell-Devlin says the agency is extremely proud to be involved in the promotion of one of New Zealand’s best loved brands.

“Air New Zealand Fashion Week has set global standards with its execution and showcases New Zealand designers to the world in a truly spectacular way. We are delighted and honoured to be a part of this internationally renowned celebration of home-grown talent and success.”

Cathy Campbell Communications, the PR agency which helped to build the Air New Zealand Fashion Week brand, will be retained in a consulting role and will also provide ongoing assistance with the Media Centre.

Now in its seventh successful year, Air New Zealand Fashion Week is set to run from September 16-22 at the Auckland Viaduct. The popular public event Air New Zealand Fashion Week 4U will run on the 21st and 22nd of September.
