Masthead Invests Further in Healthcare Sector
Masthead today confirmed that it had made a further investment in the healthcare sector, purchasing a 10.1% shareholding in Ebos Group Limited.
Masthead is an investment company associated with the Stewart family of Christchurch. Last year it acquired a 19.9% shareholding in Abano Healthcare Group Limited.
Masthead director Mark Stewart said: “The healthcare sector has a lot of appeal for us. From a long term investment point of view we see the healthcare sector as providing a number of future opportunities given New Zealand’s aging demographic.”
The investments in Ebos and Abano follow Masthead’s divestment from the plastics industry last year.
