Fonterra head of consumer brands resigns
Fonterra today announced that the head of its consumer brands and foodservice business, Sanjay Khosla, will be resigning effective the end of January for family reasons.
In making the announcement Fonterra CEO Andrew Ferrier said: “while we are naturally disappointed to be losing someone of Sanjay’s experience, passion and calibre, we respect his wishes to be closer to his family.
“In Sanjay’s time with the organisation he has taken an underperforming consumer business and put in place a long term strategy that is now paying dividends. He has built a strong consumer team that has made the hard calls on underperforming brands and markets and the Winning through Brands! strategy that Sanjay has introduced has seen an improvement in sales and profits of our brands business worldwide”, he said.
Mr Ferrier said he was finalising the succession planning options for the Brands business and he expected to make an announcement in January.
