Harcourts Increases Christchurch Dominance with New Office
21 December 2006
Building on its dominant marketshare in greater Christchurch with 26 offices, Harcourts has recently expanded its presence with a new office in the suburb of Strowan. Business Owners of the highly successful Harcourts offices in Papanui, Redwood, Parklands, New Brighton and Greymouth, John and Lynnette McFadden and Judy Curnow, have teamed up with Doug Soper and Sara Ashcroft to open Harcourts Strowan.
Mr Soper has 13 years of industry experience with Harcourts while Ms Ashcroft has 11, with both very well known and respected in the city, and consistently featuring in Harcourts’ National and Regional Top 20 sales consultants.
As Manager, Mr Soper said, “We saw a great opportunity in this highly sought after niche location”. The office is on the corner of Idris and Blighs Road, within a few blocks of Harcourts’ Papanui office, based in a “superb spot with a building that has undergone an extensive and stylish refurbishment”.
With many home prices comfortably exceeding $600,000 and increasingly attracting professionals to the area, Mr Soper said Strowan had “really come into its own” as a highly desirable place to live with its beautiful well established location, mature gardens and trees, character homes, and close proximity to excellent schooling.
Harcourts Strowan’s team of four sales consultants has consistently exceeded all targets and expectations to date with a focus on continuing to build on their success. With steady enquiry from other sales consultants throughout the city looking to join the office, Mr Soper is looking forward to securing a full and successful contingent early in to the New Year.
Harcourts New Zealand CEO, Bryan Thomson, said “Growing and developing careers has long been the cornerstone of Harcourts’ success with the ownership and management of our new Strowan office in the hands of experienced long term Harcourts team members a clear example of this. Clients who select this office to achieve their real estate goals will receive exceptional service and results.”
