Assia Salikhova arrived in New Zealand in 1996 with extensive experience, holding a PhD in molecular biology, followed by leadership in IT telecommunication development at IBM NZ.
In 2004, her creative advertising and design company, Art Studio needed a list for a direct marketing campaign. Not finding such a list, Assia started her own data research after hours with the help of one student.
Two months later, discovering how challenging it was to gather quality, useful information, Assia had 14 contractors, and herein evolved ‘mission impossible':
