Vodafone and i-mate™ launch two Vodafone 3G broadband Windows Mobile® devices
i-mate™ SP JAS and i-mate™ JASJAM with thumb-wheel menu navigation available now exclusively from Vodafone New Zealand
The latest products released by i-mate™, the global Windows Mobile® 5.0 device specialist, bring Vodafone 3G broadband
services to Vodafone New Zealand customers allowing them to make the most of the moment with fantastic productivity
features on the go, as well as download speeds faster than entry level broadband.
The i-mate™ SP JAS and the i-mate™ JASJAM are the first i-mate™ devices to feature thumb-wheels for easy menu
navigation, allowing users to quickly scroll within their inbox or simply move from one function to the next.
The i-mate™ SP JAS offers Microsoft Windows Mobile® functionality in a stylish and slim mobile phone format, while the
i-mate™ JASJAM is a fully-featured Microsoft Windows® Pocket PC, or handheld computer phone, and one of the first
products in the world to offer 3G (WCDMA), EDGE and WiFi global roaming access.
Vodafone 3G broadband customers can enjoy super fast access to emails and the internet, as well as experience the power
and convenience of video conferencing.

Pre-loaded with Microsoft® Exchange Direct Push technology, both devices provide instant access to emails, allowing
users to open and view Microsoft® Office attachments in Word, Excel® and PowerPoint® Mobile.
The i-mate™ JASJAM provides users with a range of dynamic flexible data input methods including i-mate’s scroll wheel, a
touch-screen display and slider QWERTY keyboard. It features a 2.0 megapixel camera with macro mode. Both devices also
feature a second lens for simple video conferencing connectivity.
For mobile business professionals who prefer a more conventional mobile phone format, the i-mate™ SP JAS combines the
ergonomics of a stylish and slim device with the full power of Windows Mobile® functionality.
Featuring a bright, large, full-colour screen for easily viewing Microsoft® Office documents and email attachments, the
i-mate™ SP JAS is beautifully crafted with bold lines and a black and grey casing that combines both smooth and matt
surfaces for extra grip.
i-mate™ offers the most extensive support available for a Windows Mobile™ based device in New Zealand with i-mate™ Gold;
a complete support package entailing 24x7 phone/web/email support. Customers also receive a 24 month global extended
