Mailshop heralds Wellington expansion with key management appointments
Wellington, 7 November 2006 – Mailshop, New Zealand’s leading direct marketing fulfilment house, today announced the appointments of its National General Manager, and Wellington Manager for its new facility in the capital. National GM Deidre Ross’ role encompasses both Auckland and Wellington, while Jon Boyer will front the Wellington operation.
During her time in the top job, Ms Ross has overseen Mailshop’s transformation into the largest direct marketing fulfilment specialist by volume in New Zealand. Mr Boyer was previously Business Communications Manager for Moore Gallagher. He has extensive direct marketing experience, including 7 years with various agencies in the UK.
Ms Ross says of Mr Boyer’s appointment, “Going into the Wellington marketplace we needed someone who was well-established in the territory. Jon’s a respected industry figure in the capital, and he’s got the right balance of local knowledge and overseas experience to ensure Mailshop Wellington makes the right impact in the market.”
Mr Boyer said, “This is a fantastic opportunity for me personally, and a very exciting time for Mailshop. Wellington is a mature creative market that has been crying out for a fulfilment house with the direct marketing-specific capabilities that Mailshop prides itself on, and from the first week of December we’ll be operational to satisfy that demand.”
