Radio Live Ratings Continue To Climb
RadioLIVE continues to make steady gains in the latest radio survey results released today.
The station’s national audience increased by 17% to 121,900 with solid growth in both Auckland and Christchurch * .
RadioLIVE recorded gains in all its weekday programmes. Evening host Marcus Lush ** continues to be the network’s most popular presenter while the addition of Willie Jackson and John Tamihere to the line up in May has paid dividends for LIVE. The duo effectively doubled their share in the 12-3pm weekday time slot since the last survey round in April 2006. Michael Laws, Martin Devlin and James Coleman all achieved gains in their respective day parts. ***
“The radio station’s growth plan is on track and we are particularly delighted with the outstanding results in the South Island” said Mitch Harris, RadioLIVE General Manager. “We continue to attract an audience who are looking for a more contemporary talk program and this survey reflects our achievements as we work towards that goal.”
