Create New Zealand's best broadband plan with New Zealand's best ISP; Orcon
Despite a difficult wholesale environment Kiwi-owned ISP Orcon has today announced a flexible range of broadband plans at outstanding prices, with zero connection/setup charges.
Orcon continues to offer New Zealand's most affordable broadband, with plans starting from just $19.95 per month. Orcon have also introduced full speed plans that deliver speeds as fast as a customer's telephone line will allow, from just $29.95 per month.
Orcon has also announced that all new connections from the 26th of October will have a free connection and a free Siemens ADSL modem. Customers who have broadband with another ISP can move to Orcon and receive a free transfer and their first two months broadband free.
The new plans work on a 'menu' system. Customers pick a line speed and a data plan that suits and build their own plan. The data plans range from 200MB through to 200GB, and include unlimited data (with reasonable use policy) options. Any data option can be bundled with any speed, resulting in Orcon offering NZ's first max/max unlimited data plan.
"We have worked really hard on our new plans, and firmly believe they represent the best value for money when compared with the plans from New Zealand's other ISPs. Not only do customers get to choose which speed and data bundle works best for them, but they also get Orcon's award winning service" says Orcon's General Manager of Operations, Scott Bartlett.
The speeds of the new plans range from 256Kbps/128Kbps (down/up) through to Max/Max that allows a users connection to run at speeds as fast as the line can deliver.
"People want to be able to choose the options that are right for them. We didn't want to restrict them, as some of our competitors have, by locking them into a fixed set of plans" continued Bartlett.
Orcon's new plans are available from the 26th of October, with existing Orcon customers able to change to any of the new plans for free.
"It is exciting for New Zealand that we are seeing so much progress. We can't wait to bring Kiwis really outstanding broadband" concluded Bartlett.
Orcon has sustained a high level of growth over the past 3 years to become NZ's 4th largest ISP, and the fastest growing telecommunications provider in New Zealand. Orcon won the 2006 TUANZ ISP of the Year award, and has become a household name in New Zealand.
