Woosh launches new Wireless & Wired Broadband plans
Woosh is pleased to announce the October 26 launch of sharp new Broadband plans for both wireless and wired (DSL) broadband.
These new plans mean that Woosh now offers genuine broadband competition across the entire country.
Customers with access to Woosh wireless coverage have the added advantage of choosing a wireless broadband option for portability, with no requirement for a landline.
Nick Clarke, Marketing Manager of Woosh, said “These competitive new plans continue our strategy to provide a real broadband choice for New Zealanders”.
The key details of the new plans are:
- Entry level price point of $24.95 nationwide. Pricing plans for wireless and wired mirror each other up to $39.95 point
- A customer in Woosh wireless coverage can get a complete phone line replacement including broadband from $49 – around the same price as many people currently pay for a Telecom home line. In effect, they will get their broadband for free.
- A flat rate option is available on wired (DSL) broadband
- Wireless plans will have data allowances increased
- Plans have bill security – so there are no shocks at the end of the month
Mr Clarke added, “Some other ISPs require toll calling in order to get broadband pricing, usually with a $10 penalty if no tolls are bundled, and a minimum spend of $10 if you do. At Woosh, all customers get the best pricing, and no customer will be forced to change their toll call providers.
However, Woosh already offers broadband and phone packages for around the same price as an ordinary phone line, and wireless customers get toll call rates of only 10c a minute to anywhere in New Zealand or to 47 other countries.
Woosh will be upgrading existing customers on 1st November
