Relationship Experts Convene On Wellington Waterfront To Provide Roadmap To Relationship Success - Seminar “The Art of a Good Relationship” for Men and Women to Make Relationships Work
Wellington – 17 October 2006 – The 21st century provides numerous obstacles for couples trying to build successful relationships, as evidenced by recent publicity over National Party leader Don Brash’s relationship-work, but a weekend seminar in Wellington is designed to ease the way with a roadmap for relationship obstacles.
Featuring well known relationship specialist Janice Davies and Suzanne Innes-Kent, as well as dating agency owner Rosie Bowie, the “Art of a Good Relationship” is designed to help both men and women develop or retain good relationships in a stressful world.
The seminar runs on the Wellington waterfront on 28 and 29 October.
Those who have attended seminars given by Janice Davies praise her advice and knowledge as “inspiring” and “wise”.
“I learnt so much about myself and other people,” one participant said. “I found out . . we are all like pieces in a jigsaw.”
The recent publicity over National Leader Don Brash’s relationship issue has focused attention on the need for couples to work on “the art of their relationship”.
Finding life partners has become increasingly challenging in a world that continues to move fast and where individual pressures are growing.
And although internet dating sites have seen massive growth, their outcomes are not always either satisfactory or desirable for those seeking a stable relationship.
A leading expert and author on relationship issues, Suzanne Innes-Kent, who has lectured and written on relationship issues, as well as making television and radio appearances and written a book on the rules for courtship, is feature speaker at a weekend seminar to explain the keys towards finding and sustaining successful relationships in the 21st century.
The seminar, “The Art of a Good Relationship” is designed to help both singles and married couples develop and maintain the sort of relationships they want, rather than what they may have.
“There are mounting difficulties for both single people, but also couples who are trying to nurture their own relationships,” said Rosie Bowie, who operates Wellington dating agency, MatchCompany. Mrs Bowie is also appearing at the seminar and is co-author of a recently published book on dating and relationships, “Heart Rules”.
Janice Davies, a Life Success Coach and attitude specialist from Auckland who is well known as a speaker and teacher on relationship issues.
