New Business Development Manager for Stadium

New Business Development Manager for The Trusts Stadium and Momentum Fitness Centre
Following a national search, The Trusts Stadium has confirmed Tony Strange as Business Development Manager.
Tony comes with a strong background in facility management and fitness centre management having formerly managed Unitec's Stadium and fitness centre and more recently working with Auckland City Council as Leisure Facilities Contract Manager where he managed relationships with many ACC owned recreation centre's and the Western Springs Stadium. During the past year he established Leisure Management Services his own consulting service where he worked alongside many facilities and local Council's assisting in developing business plans and models for leisure facilities throughout New Zealand.
"We are confident that Tony will be a strong addition to the Trust Stadium management team and an excellent leader for the team of committed staff in our fitness centre" says Chief Executive, Simon Wickham. "Momentum is a key part of the Stadium's vision and business plans and we are looking forward to Tony leading our team of fitness professionals through a period of growth for Momentum."
A former professional Basketball player, having played for the Nelson Giants and in Australia, as an active sportsperson most of his life, Tony is looking forward to promoting the award winning Stadium and the Momentum fitness centre.
"I'm looking forward to joining the Momentum team at The Trusts Stadium says Strange. The gym and Stadium facilities offered are some of the best in the country and I am keen to see that convert to membership growth in the gym and increased use of the wider Stadium facilities. "It's also a bonus to have the gym facility based in such a great Stadium, the two compliment each other well and have some great benefits in being in business together".
Tony Strange begins full-time at The Trusts Stadium on 30 October.
