Kerridge & Partners Scoop Major NZ Business Excellence Award
Auckland, 6 October 2006 - Kerridge & Partners, New Zealand leaders in senior executive search announced today that they have been recognised in the New Zealand Business Excellence Awards (NZBEF Awards) as Commendation Award winners.
In order to be considered for the NZBEF Awards, applicants are put through a rigorous assessment programme and evaluated in a similar manner to the prestigious Malcolm Baldrige Award in the United States, which is internationally recognised and is benchmarked with organisations internationally.
Peter Kerridge, Director of Kerridge & Partners says that he is delighted with the NZBEF Award as the executive search business has always adhered to a philosophy of leadership, excellence and best practice.
"Our clients understand and value our search process, as from day one we have only sought to recruit the best of the best. Their satisfaction with the process and the outcome becomes obvious when they keep coming back and also referring us to other people," says Kerridge.
Kerridge also says that the business has put a lot of investment into developing various strategies for performance excellence as a benchmark for achieving international standards for its clients.
Kerridge states that their success in business growth and in the NZBEF Awards is also linked to the support of Business Excellence Architects.
"Business Excellence Architects have licensed us to use their strategic planning, business improvement and business management system tools and technologies enabled Kerridge & Partners to accelerate our progress in improving the business whilst allowing us to devote our time and resources to delivering to our clients' needs.
"The core components of these strategies start with attracting the best possible people to the business. From there it is about excellence in delivery. We gather data on all aspects of our process performance from our customers (both clients and candidates) and involve the whole team in continuously improving the way we work. We capture the improvements and our knowledge in an online Business Management System. We also have efficient strategic planning and improvement processes that enable us to translate a vision into an action plan quickly, as well as make changes rapidly in a fast paced service environment."
"Since imparting and implementing these strategies with clients, we have seen solid growth in customer satisfaction, a steady stream of process innovations, rapid growth in staff numbers and quarter-on-quarter revenue growth. Perhaps most significantly, surveys show that 100 percent of our customers say they would use us again and also refer us to others, an achievement the team are truly proud of."
