Community Auctions – open for business!
Community Auctions – a NZ auction-based website, is now live and ready to give New Zealanders the opportunity to buy, sell and trade AND help their favorite charities in the process!
New Zealand’s latest auction website is available at www.iwant.co.nz and, according to General Manager Bruce Gordon, “it may be the youngest in a crowded market, and have a major player holding the commanding presence, but we believe there is definitely room for an auction site that will thrive on the Community spirit and unlimited features which make our site a “point of difference”. We are proud that United Way, amongst other leading charities, have become our key charity partners, and along with others will be pro-active in running a busy Webstore listing those items gifted by their sponsors and turning them into much needed cash which can do the most good.
“Ease of use and free, fast and helpful support will set us apart” says Administration Manager Geoff Chowles. “While developing the site our research indicated that two places where others let themselves down is security and support.”
Adds Geoff “ We have taken on board the lessons, and concentrated on ensuring that the Community Auctions experience will not only be fun and profitable, but as free of spam, scams, unfriendly activities as is humanly possible. We also took on board the many complaints from customers of existing high-volume auctions sites regarding the need to offer friendly, helpful and FREE support, and this will be a foundation stone of Community Auctions.”
What makes Community Auctions special?, different?, unique? The best answer is to list the response, feature by feature, and you’ll see our point:
Community Auctions offer:

And a final word from GM Bruce Gordon:
“Our intention is to let Community Auctions soak up the spirit of the NZ community, for how else could we dare suggest that we are part of this community?”.
