Diesel Triton 4WD gets Auto
Mitsubishi Motors New Zealand has secured a supply of automatic diesel Triton 4WDs.
The CDi auto vehicles differ in specification to those launched earlier this month and will be badged XLS Limited Edition.
"We are really glad to have secured the auto diesels," said general manager of sales and marketing Peter Wilkins. "We worked very hard to have them available for the official launch but huge international demand initially constrained supply."
The new XLS specification is based on GLS and features leather interior, power drivers seat, cooler box, manual air-conditioning and a limited slip diff, which replaces the rear diff lock.
"Since launch, three weeks ago, public enquiry has kept our dealers very busy. The addition of an automatic diesel 4WD from late November will help meet the huge market demand for Triton. We have clear objectives for Tritons market position in six months time, and indications are that we're well on track to achieve that."
The automatic XLS Limited diesel 4WD will have a class leading RRP of $51,990, brilliant value for an automatic transmission and leather interior.
