Shera Jenne Joins NHNZ as US Representative
NHNZ is thrilled to announce that Shera Jenne is the company’s new marketing representative in North America.
A highly experienced television professional, Shera has worked as producer, director and associate producer for a
number of networks including the History
Channel, Discovery and Animal Planet. She has previously been involved in the production side of NHNZ’s operation.
NHNZ’s Director of Production and Marketing Neil Harraway says Shera’s appointment will further strengthen the company’s
place in the United States market.
“The United States remains NHNZ’s most important market. Shera’s knowledge, experience and sheer enthusiasm for factual
television make her a fantastic representative for us.”
Shera’s previous experience with NHNZ includes working as a director in the third series of the highly successful
NHNZ-Animal Planet co-production The Most Extreme. “Since my early days at Animal Planet, NHNZ has always been one of my
favorite companies to work with.
I have the highest respect for the NHNZ’s people and the work they do. It’s great to be back with such talented team,”
says Shera. NHNZ is one of the world’s leading producers of factual programming embracing the genres of nature, health,
science, adventure and people. With over 70 programmes currently in production, NHNZ crews work in locations around the
world to produce a diversity of films for international broadcasters including
Discovery Channel, Animal Planet, TLC, BSkyB, National Geographic Channel, HGTV, France 5, NHK in Japan and ZDF and
Kabel One in Germany. Based in Dunedin, New Zealand, the company is wholly owned by Fox Television Studios.
