Time with Trump
DONALD Trump has proved an inspiration to two New Zealand entrepreneurs.
Auckland-based Phil and Corinna Jones, enjoyed a rare, private meeting with the US billionaire during a recent trip to New York.
Property investor Phil is founder of the Richmastery group, which he now runs with his wife Corinna.
The company’s main aim is to help others fulfill their life-style goals through real estate success.
But this husband and wife team have never lost sight of their personal learning and development and more recently established the exclusive Presidential Inner Circle.
This provides an opportunity for the couple and other like-minded businessmen and women, to share, learn and inspire each other.
It was during a recent Presidential Inner Circle gathering in New York that Phil and Corinna had the chance to pick Mr Trump’s brains for a whole 30 minutes!
This meeting has sparked what the couple now aim to be a lasting relationship with the property tycoon and his organisations.
Phil and Corinna know the importance of learning from the best and when it comes to property investing Mr Trump is undoubtedly one of the world’s leading lights.
“You just can’t underestimate the value of this sort of one-on-one time with someone like Donald Trump – it was a truly incredible experience which left me inspired,”said Phil.
“I just learnt so much and can’t wait to bring some of that magic ‘Trump touch’ to New Zealand!
“There was so much that excited and inspired me about the meeting – I have tried to capture as much as possible on my blog which people can read via the Richmastery website www.richmastery.com.”
For Corinna this initial meeting was less about business and more about establishing a lasting relationship.
She added: “Donald Trump is undoubtedly someone Phil and I can learn from – but he is also just a thoroughly nice guy who was really open to sharing his thoughts with us.
“For me our meeting was about establishing a relationship with someone who will continue to inspire us for some time to come.
“I am confident this was not just a one-off meeting but the start of a valuable lasting relationship and Mr Trump has already spoken to us twice on the phone since the meeting!”
Corinna has also documented her thoughts on the meeting in Phil’s blog.
But the learning does not stop there for this ambitious pair and their Presidential Inner Circle members.
The group will be heading to Stoneyridge Vineyard in Waiheke for a private dinner with Mr Trump’s ‘Apprentice’ winner Bill Rancic.
After taking part in the Reality TV programme, Mr Rancic elected to take charge of the construction of the Trump Tower Chicago in his native Chicago, Illinois, on the site of the demolished Chicago Sun-Times building.
The son of educators, Mr Rancic is a true entrepreneur, who originally earned his way through college by starting a boat wash and wax business in the Chicago area and has gone on to build up a number of successful companies.
“Once again this is a chance to meet someone who is a real self-made success story,” said Corinna.
“I am so excited about this private dinner and know there will be huge amounts for us to learn from this exceptional entrepreneur!”
