New appointments bring support to The Hyperfactory’s global development hub
The Hyperfactory has bolstered its award winning Auckland based production team with two first class additions, Production Team Co-ordinator, Martin Schrick and Project Manager, Peter Morrison. Their addition to the team reflects the increased complexity of the production operation at The Hyperfactory with the team regularly deploying ‘world-first’ campaigns in five countries, across three continents.
Martin has been working in the internet arena since 1994 helping to develop ground breaking internet and mobile applications across the globe. In 1999, Martin helped to take dot com startup iPrint from 10 to 300 employees and successful IPO. He then co-founded one of the first mobile betting companies, Wireless Wager. Before joining The Hyperfactory, Martin was the manager of all website properties of Australian online betting company IASbet, a company with a yearly turnover in excess of AUD800 million.
As Production Team Co-ordinator, Martin is responsible for managing all facets of technical development and delivery of every one of The Hyperfactory’s campaigns executed globally.
Peter Morrison also has a long pedigree in the mobile internet industry as a founding member of the team that developed the first person to person betting service for the Southern Hemisphere and one of the first WAP betting services in the world. He then went on the co-found Maverick Ventures Ltd, the developer and operator of PokerPress.com, a leading online poker information website. Peter has been involved in The Hyperfactory since its inception five years ago and recently rejoined the company after spending two years in Europe.
Derek Handley, The Hyperfactory’s CEO, explains what impact the appointments will have, “Our production team in Auckland are developing and deploying ground breaking mobile marketing campaigns in New Zealand, Australia, Hong Kong, China, and the USA. With so much activity focused on our Auckland hub, it was crucial to increase the head count; Martin and Peter are welcome additions to the team and are already bringing their considerable expertise.”
