Stock shortages force Honda to offer cash backs
New Zealand’s best selling farm utility ATV, is in short supply, and Honda is offering an incentive on an alternative model to try to plug the hole.
Honda has New Zealand’s first and second best selling farm or utility ATV. The TRX350FM has sold out, and has been in short supply for the last three months, so Honda is offering incentives on both TRX500 models to tempt Honda customers into an alternative model.
“We’ve been caught out”, said Blue Wing Honda’s General Manager Clive Cooper-Smith, “we can’t get enough supply of the smaller capacity machine and that is causing concern amongst our customers and dealers. As a result we have put an incentive in place on the larger machine, to try to encourage customers to look at these as alternatives.“
Customers who buy a TRX500FM or TRX500FA are eligible for a $500 cash-back. The offer, which is available for retail sales between now, and 30th September is designed to help customers move up from a 350 model, but is open to all retail customers.
Honda continues to offer free NZQA safety training with every new ATV sold, and until 31st August a free Swanndri ATV vest.
