Brainy Breakfast: Online Marketing

Published: Tue 1 Aug 2006 01:08 PM
Marketers show that they are keen to hear more about how to grow their business through online marketing.
The Marketing Association’s August Brainy Breakfast, at the Crowne Plaza on 3 August, featuring both local and international speakers, who come to us via webex, has proved a big hit with the New Zealand marketing community. It has received the biggest ever number of sign-ups, currently sitting at 241, and still counting.
The first half of the event, starring Anne Holland and Stefan Tornquist of MarketingSherpa of the USA, will show case studies, how-to’s and tips on effective email marketing and ways to raise conversion to purchase.
Part two will put a local spin on things and give you the low down on online retail in New Zealand. This will provide an overview of the total market along with ecommerce and online marketing case studies from four online retail players, followed by a panel session where attendees will be able to question the speakers about the online retail world. Our local speakers are Ferrit’s Peter Wogan and Cate Bryant and John McPherson from Advintage, as well as Pharmacy Direct’s Jason Roberts.
Keith Norris, CEO of The Marketing Association is delighted at the turnout and says it is a clear indication that his organisation is fulfilling the needs of its members by providing relevant education forums.
