New Sun Princess programme offers Kiwis a galaxy of choice
Princess Cruises is offering Kiwis a galaxy of choice with the release of Sun Princess’ debut Australasian cruise
season.
The new Sun Princess advance preview brochure, available from travel agents now, details 10 fantastic itineraries for
the stylish 70,000-tonne liner. Included are two memorable 28-night circumnavigations of Australia and four spectacular
14-night round-New Zealand voyages. Thirty per cent Fare Saver discounts are available for early bookings on selected
departures.
The 2,000-passenger Sun Princess will be the biggest superliner ever to be based in Australia when she arrives in
November 2007 for a five-month season of cruises from Sydney.
Passengers will be able to visit some of Australia’s most inspiring regions - from Kakadu in the north to Cradle
Mountain in Tasmania - on the superliner’s circumnavigations, which depart Sydney on November 7, 2007 and March 9, 2008.
Fares for the 28-night voyages start from NZ$8,356 per person complete twin. For those who’d like to see the best of
Australia from the comfort of their own private balcony, fares are from NZ$11,784 per person complete twin.
Meanwhile, fares on the New Zealand journeys – which visit seven beautiful ports including stunning Milford Sound in the
South Island and the tranquil Bay of Islands in the North Island – are priced from NZ$3,650 per person complete twin,
with balcony cabin fares available from NZ$4,892 per person complete twin.
Also on offer are three very special South Pacific sojourns taking in the idyllic, remote islands of Ouvea, Lifou and
Champagne Bay. Fares start from NZ$2,367 per person complete twin on a nine-night voyage to Noumea, Isle of Pines and
Lifou departing Sydney on December 19, 2007. Balcony cabins on this voyage are available from NZ$3,163 per person
complete twin.
An exciting 8-night cruise to the magical island of Tasmania is available from NZ$2,303 per person complete twin or
$3,081 per person in a complete twin balcony cabin.
Sun Princess offers a wide variety of accommodation options, featuring more than 1,000 suites, mini suites and
staterooms – including more than 400 affordable private balcony cabins. On-board features include eight restaurants and
cafes, nine bars and show lounges and four swimming pools.
