Big Wednesday $5.9 Million Ultimate Lifestyle Remains Unclaimed
The fourth winning Big Wednesday First Division ticket, worth a whopping $5.9 million in cash and luxury prizes, is still to be claimed, says NZ Lotteries Chief Executive Todd McLeay.
Mr McLeay says the lucky player, or players, who bought their ticket at Pakuranga Lotto in Auckland, and won $4.4 million cash plus $1.5 million in luxury prizes, are still to claim their prize.
Mr McLeay says a winning Second Division Big Wednesday ticket, worth $313,309 was also sold at Pakuranga Lotto.
"When purchasing a Big Wednesday ticket, a player can add both heads and tails to their numbers, which would result in them winning both First and Second Division if they have the correct six numbers.
"However, until last night's prize is claimed, it can not be confirmed that the same player, or players, have won both First and Second Division," says Mr McLeay.
The Pakuranga prize is the second largest Big Wednesday prize to date and the thirteenth largest prize to be won in any NZ Lotteries game.
The largest prize to be won on a NZ Lotteries game was an $18 million Lotto Powerball prize, won by an Auckland couple, and sold in Kaeo in May. The largest Big Wednesday prize went to a ticket sold in Thames which won more than $13 million in cash and luxury prizes in February.
Mr McLeay says whoever has the winning Big Wednesday prize ticket should immediately write their name on the back of the ticket, keep it in a safe place and contact NZ Lotteries Wellington office.
"We'd like to meet them so that we can talk them through their win and provide them with any advice they require. They are about to begin living the ultimate lifestyle, and we want it to begin in the best way possible." The number is 04 802 7000.
"The Big Wednesday winner will never have to look at a price tag again. They'll be able to travel the globe using their luxury travel prize. They'll also have more than $4 million in the bank and a Porsche and Range Rover in the garage, not to mention a luxury launch in the boat harbour and a holiday home to enjoy.
The Big Wednesday First Division winner has won:
- $4.4 milion - Porsche 911 Carrera; - Range Rover Vogue V8; - $50,000 worth of luxury travel every year for five years; - $250,000 American Express Platinum card; - Mustang luxury launch; and a - $500,000 holiday home.
