Statistics NZ inaugural Student Journalism Award
Statistics New Zealand is delighted to announce the inaugural Student Journalism Award 2006. In conjunction with the Journalist Training Organisation, Statistics New Zealand is looking to encourage and assist new journalists in using statistics as an investigative tool in their daily writing.
This award is offered to any student enrolled in recognised journalism course during the 2006 year.
The story must use official statistics and evidence of publication must be submitted in the form of a copy of the final published story, tape/ or transcript of a broadcast story. Could you please let any students who are working in your newsrooms know of this award.
