SAI Life Opens Christchurch Office
SAI Life, an innovator in the insurance, savings and mortgage market, is opening a Christchurch office at the end of this month.
While SAI Life has had a presence for some time in Christchurch, the opening of a dedicated office reflects the company’s long term commitment to the South Island and recognises the potential of SAI’s niche product offerings in the important mainland market.
Chief Executive Mark Darrow says the company has had an agency presence in Christchurch for several years.
“As a wholly owned subsidiary of NZX listed Dorchester Pacific Ltd, we have been involved in Christchurch through fellow subsidiary Dorchester Finance,” he says.
“We see Christchurch as the natural place to have a base to service the South Island. Formally opening an SAI office here is an important step in our growth and we look forward to further developing our business through the innovative financial products we offer.”
SAI Life aims to have 15 agents based in Christchurch by the end of the year to assist clients. Fund Managers supporting the savings and investment products offered by the company include big names such as ING NZ and ABN AMRO Craigs.
SAI Life is best known for pioneering Reverse Annuity Mortgages (RAM) in New Zealand 14 years ago, and, through this product, remains the most experienced – and the most innovative – company in this sector.
Another cornerstone product for SAI is its SuperLife contract savings scheme, which is a runaway success in areas where it has been introduced. SAI Life also provides Life Insurance, including GroupLife – an exceptional product for New Zealand companies wanting a cost-effective option to offer employees. Superannuation, and the Equity Release Loans under the RAM® banner, complete its product portfolio.
