15 Luxury NZ Lodges Offer Free Accommodation!
(June 2006) Auckland, NEW ZEALAND. Art of Travel, a wholesale specialist in providing exclusive holiday and travel experiences encompassing the best that New Zealand has to offer, is offering an unprecedented - ‘Stay for 3 nights, Pay for 2’ offer at 15 award-winning and internationally renowned New Zealand lodges, boutique hotels and luxury bed and breakfasts.
The luxury promotion, which is available until 30 September 2006, offers Australian and New Zealand travellers the opportunity to experience a short break, long weekend, special occasion, honeymoon or extended adventure holiday in luxury lodge accommodation.
The 15 properties participating in the ‘Stay 3 pay 2’ promotion are based throughout the North and South Islands and many are based in or just a short drive from the key New Zealand gateway cities of Auckland, Rotorua and Christchurch.
The gateway city of Auckland offers a choice of three, luxury hotels. One of the hotels, Cotter House, recently hosted the infamous Rolling Stone, Keith Richards and his family during their New Zealand stay. A different experience is provided by the traditional, country setting of Maungatautari Lodge. Situated less than an hour from Auckland airport, the property is located on its own stud farm with on-site horse riding stables for guests.
Moving to the South Island, Christchurch, with direct flights now available from most eastern seaboard Australian cities, again offers a choice of 3 properties within 45 minutes of touchdown. Huntley House offers heli-skiing this winter with pick up available from the hotel door direct to the mountain top, and has a fleet of classic cars including an Aston Martin DB7 Vantage, Bentley Brooklands and Hummer H2, at the guest’s disposal. Claremont Country Estate, set on 70 hectares of deer, sheep and cattle farm, lies at the base of the Southern Alps amongst the famous Waipara Vineyards. It is a short drive from the property to Kaikoura to watch the Great Southern Whales.
“Art of Travel only specializes in luxury, New Zealand travel. We are one of very few New Zealand-based travel companies that intimately knows the luxury lodge market and the experiences that they individually offer”, says Wendy Dobson, Managing Director of Art of Travel. “To have a range of 15 of New Zealand’s best experiences uniquely offered in one promotional offer is unprecedented in the Australian and New Zealand market”.
