Diary Note June 7th:
Fuel Economy World Record Holders Return to New Zealand
Fuel Economy Guinness World Record holders, John and Helen Taylor, who drove around the world (28,970 km) earlier this year using only 24 tanks of petrol, will be returning to New Zealand on June 12 until June 16.
As part of their fuel economy challenge, the Taylors drove through New Zealand in March, driving from Christchurch to Auckland using less than one tank of petrol.
For the challenge the Taylors chose to use the Shell's Fuel Economy Formula that has recently been released into the New Zealand market.
The Taylors are returning to New Zealand to promote fuel economy driving and will be available for media interviews and one-on-one driving lessons with the media while they are here.
They will be in Auckland on June 12 and 13, Wellington on June 14 and 15 and Christchurch on June 16.
