KELLY SERVICES ANNOUNCES NEW IT SPECIALIST DIVISION
Leading recruitment company, Kelly Services, has expanded operations, announcing its entry into the Information Technology and Telecommunications (IT & ICT) employment markets.
Kelly Services announced today the launch of Kelly IT Resources, the latest in its expanding range of specialist employment divisions.
The new Kelly IT Resources will place highly qualified IT professionals in areas such as technical support, programming, web development, networks, e-commerce and project management.
Peter Hargraves, Manager of Kelly IT Resources, said “The NZ market for IT recruitment has become highly fragmented with a large number of small companies providing IT recruitment services of varying degrees of quality. Our intention in launching Kelly IT Resources in NZ is to provide the IT industry with a specialist IT recruitment team that uses Kelly Services’ quality systems to deliver high quality recruitment outcomes to both candidates and clients.
The introduction of Kelly IT Resources comes at a time of rapid growth for Kelly Services, which is raising its focus on specialist staffing to supplement its generalist permanent and temporary staffing divisions.
Other specialist divisions in the Kelly Services group include Kelly Engineering Resources, Kelly Scientific Resources, Kelly Vendor Management, Kelly Office, Kelly Industrial, and Kelly Contact Centre.
“The addition of Kelly IT Resources to our NZ operation is a logical development that links and exploits the knowledge and expertise we have gained through many years of IT recruitment globally by Kelly Services. It will help us to provide a comprehensive service to both employees and employers in a wide range of industries,” he said.
Recently, in the U.S., Kelly Services was awarded Intel Corporation’s prestigious 2005 Supplier Continuous Quality Improvement award for its success in supplying Intel with IT staffing services.
This year Kelly Services celebrates 60 years of staffing, becoming one of the largest employment organisations in the world with offices in 30 countries and providing employment for nearly 700,000 employees annually.
