Business Manager For Leading Ophthalmology Clinic

Business Manager Appointed by Leading Ophthalmology Clinic Eye Institute
Auckland – Monday May 22, 2006 – Eye Institute, leaders in eye surgery and the most experienced laser surgery clinic in Australasia, has appointed Barbara Cable as its Business Manager.
Barbara joins Eye Institute from MedTech Global, where in her role as Client Support Manager she managed sales coordination; involving training, installations and client support for a leading general practice management system. Her role also extended to assisting Primary Health Care to implement and train personnel in the MedTech32 management system for its clinics throughout Sydney.
Barbara will work with Eye Institute’s ten eye surgeons (eight directors and two consultants) and 36 staff to develop and maintain the Eye Institute’s reputation as the leading eye surgery practice in the country. Her primary responsibility is to manage the business processes for Eye Institute and increase its patient service delivery levels.
Barbara will be involved in marketing and communication activities, developing new business strategies, supplier management, financial management and human resource management. Her other responsibilities will include operations control, security and building maintenance, event management and general management administration.
With over 20 years experience in practice management, Barbara's career has spanned to roles with leading accident and medical centers and specialist centers in New Zealand and Australia. Here she was instrumental in the building design, development and project management of their new premises.
