For Release: 19 May 2006
Legendary Hamilton real estate figure, Shaun Cosgrave of Harcourts Hamilton Glenview has achieved Harcourts’ Number 1 National Sales Consultant award for an extraordinary third year in the row, ahead of 1,900 other Harcourts sales consultants throughout New Zealand.
The announcement was made on Wednesday night at the black tie Awards Dinner concluding Harcourts' annual three day Conference in Christchurch with close to 1,000 attending the day sessions, and a capacity crowd of 900 at the 2005-2006 awards dinner.
Alison Aitken from the Christchurch City office was announced as Harcourts’ Number 2 National Sales Consultant for the third year in a row. Alison was Harcourts’ Number 1 National Sales Consultant 1999-2003, and earlier this month achieved Harcourts’ Number 1 Canterbury Sales Consultant for an extraordinary seventh year in a row. Mark O’Loughlin from Harcourts Papanui in Christchurch was announced as the Number 3 National Sales Consultant nationwide.
Bryan Thomson, CEO of Harcourts New Zealand, said, "Property buyers and sellers today are more sophisticated, educated and time poor than ever before. They require real estate professionals who are highly skilled, knowledgeable and systemised to ensure results are consistently delivered on time to expectation. Shaun Cosgrave is a pure professional who delivers for his clients at a level seldom seen in any field. His top ranking has been earned through hard work, commitment, focus and the support of a great team. Harcourts is very proud to have Shaun representing us again as our national champion.”
Brian King, business partner of Harcourts’ five Hamilton offices said having worked with Shaun for many years, “he is not only an incredible professional, but a fantastic team player setting the benchmark for excellence his colleagues aspire to. Our team was also proud to take home many top office and individual awards including three other team members achieving National Top 20 Awards: Annette Weir (Hamilton Chartwell) #14, Sue Hall (Hamilton Dinsdale) #18, and Mario Vesely (Hamilton Hillcrest) #19.
Shaun Cosgrave was last year also named the Supreme Winner in the Real Estate Institute’s Central Region (Waikato, Bay of Plenty, Gisborne) for the fifth time.
