Gurney Outbacks available
A limited edition Steve Gurney Outback, with 2.5 litre engine has gone on sale at Subaru dealers nationwide.
The cars feature an extensive range of accessories at no extra cost and are available with a choice of five speed manual or four speed automatic transmission.
Features include the choice of three, two tone colour options, blue, black or white pearl with opal coloured lower panels. They come with subtle SG06 badging.
Also unique to the Steve Gurney Outback are 16 inch alloy wheels with a different design to those fitted to the current standard model.
The Outback, the originator of the crossover SUV class with its higher ground clearance is named after legendary local multi-sport and adventure racer Steve Gurney, who has won the Coast to Coast race more times than anybody else. Gurney has been a Subaru ambassador for many years.
The Steve Gurney Outback accessories include a cargo step panel at the base of the rear door frame, floor mats, towbar, cargo area tray and Thule cross bars for the roof rack.
The extra accessories have a retail value of $2000, but the Steve Gurney Outbacks will retail at the standard Outback 2.5 price of $44,990 for the manual and $46,990 for the automatic.
