“Crushed Apple” 100% Pure New Zealand Apple Juice is being launched at The Food Show at the Westpac Stadium in
Wellington this weekend, Friday to Sunday 12-14 May 2006.
Fashion Foods Ltd owners and apple orchardists Bill and Erica Lynch from Redwood Valley, Richmond, Nelson, New Zealand,
are the producers of Crushed Apple and are personally presenting their own quality branded product at the show together
with their distributor Mediterranean Food Warehouse Wellington.
Gino Cuccurullo of Mediterranean Food Warehouse was looking for a premium juice to introduce to his wholesale and retail
and customers, and when he sampled one glass of Crushed Apple that was enough to convince him he was onto something
special. “Its beautiful, its natural, its quality, its economical and its very well packaged” says Gino. “People are
prepared to pay a small premium for something as good as this” Gino added.
Bill and Erica have over 50 years combined experience between them in the apple business and they certainly know what
they are talking about when it comes to apples and apple juice. “Crushed Apple”, Bill says, “was born out of disgust,
frustration and embarrassment at the standard of many of the juices available on the market both internationally and in
New Zealand”.
“We make Crushed Apple from a carefully selected mix of several varieties of our own very best tree ripened apples - not
from low quality left-over fruit and watered down imported juice concentrates. We are a family owned and operated
business and we know exactly what is in our juice - it is the best - and we are proud of it. Each batch is manufactured
in a boutique way and is uniquely different in taste like wine. We let the juice do the talking - try it - you’ll buy
