BNZ Monthly Confidence Survey Results

Published: Thu 11 May 2006 09:36 AM
Attached please find the results of our latest monthly survey of Weekly Overview readers.
There has been a further improvement in net sentiment recorded within our monthly survey with a net 23% of respondents expecting the economy will get worse over the next 12 months compared with a net 29% in April and 73% in December. Pessimism is now almost back to the reading in our first survey in February last year and this movement appears in line with improvements recorded in other sentiment surveys.
