@ Your Request acquires Mr Green
Adrian Kenny’s @ Your Request premium home and commercial service franchise business today announced the purchase of the
Mr Green Home Services franchise.
Kenny partnered with the Radius Health Group to buy the franchise, 60:40. The sale is effective immediately.
Mr Green which commenced operations in 1990 has 250 franchisees across New Zealand. @ Your Request which opened for
business in September 2003 has 150 franchisees.
@ Your Request offers a premium property care service including lawnmowing, gardening, landscaping, house washing, home
cleaning, maintenance and commercial property management services.
“Mr Green is an excellent franchise and has been the leading edge in home and commercial services in New Zealand for
more than a decade and a half. Richard and Trudy Smith have built a highly successful growth business with outstanding
geographic reach, excellent and committed franchisees and good back office systems,” Adrian Kenny said.
Franchisees buying an @ Your Request franchise pay from $15k, Mr Green franchisees have similar entry costs depending on
their needs – approximately $15k.
In the past 12 months, 80 new @ Your Request franchises have been sold. Over the last 24 months, Mr Green has sold 25
new franchises.
Kenny, who started in the industry in 1991, is the brains behind one of the southern hemisphere’s most successful home
service enterprises[1], and @ Your Request is his most recent investment in the sector.
“Experience is an invaluable asset in this industry. At AYR, we support each other and share knowledge so that everyone
has the best chance of success - I liken it to a family business,” said Kenny.
“@ Your Request and Mr Green are distinct service offerings, successful in their own territories. It’s a fantastic
platform for growth. For the time being, we will enjoy the experience of working the two franchises,” Kenny added.
@ Your Request’s partner in the Mr Green purchase is Radius Health Group, an equity stakeholder in the @ Your Request
business.
Radius is an integrated health and lifecare group with business interests spanning pharmacies, aged care services,
medical services, security services and residential and commercial property care services.
Radius Managing Director Tom Wilson said that Mr Green was a natural fit for Radius “adding an extra dimension to the
property care services business. We now cover the full range from premium through to the more modest property care
requirements.”

property cluster Radius has acquired over the last 3 years” Wilson added.
