PRESS RELEASE
Streamlined fit-out service saves time and money for busy retailers
Retail fit out specialists join forces to offer complete service under one roof
A recently formed fit-out group, Retail Dimension Ltd., brings together the talent and expertise of two long established display and shop fitting operations. The new organisation will provide a single point of contact focussing on customer service and offering the convenience and control of a solution provider with all key technologies in house.
Gil Retter of Wellington based Display Point, recently re-branded as Dimension Display, and Nick Turpin of Auckland based Dimension Shop fitters recognised a synergy that made combining forces an obvious business decision. Brett McMurtrie, former sales and marketing manager for Eagle Wire Products and now general manager of Retail Dimension, will be the primary point of contact for clients.
“The line between display and merchandising and shop fitting has blurred over the years to such an extent that combining operations became an obvious move with considerable benefits to the customer,” says Gil Retter. “Our clients are busy so the single point of contact will save time and will streamline their process regardless of the size of the job.”
According to McMurtrie, a key benefit to clients of the new streamlined operation is the ease of doing business, “essentially we aim to take our client’s challenges and turn them into solutions with the minimum of hassle,” he says. “A cornerstone of streamlining any service is keeping key technologies in house. This gives us more control which translates into a more reliable and economical service for our clients.”
“Our combined expertise as Retail Dimension includes complete shop fit outs, with project management where required, with the emphasis on high quality shop joinery, cabinetry and specialist fittings plus a full capability in display, point of sale and merchandising systems with CAD based creative design and the full range of key display technologies,” says Nick Turpin. “We cater to the full spectrum of a retailer’s needs from turnkey shop solutions down to any part of it – this could be anything from ceiling tiles to floor tiles or the display and merchandising for a single category solution. No job is too big or too small,” he adds.
Retail Dimension offers a national service backed by factories in Auckland, Wellington and Palmerston North and includes a high volume cabinetry and panel conversion capability.
