TVNZ Scores 48 Out of 50 Top Programmes
TVNZ series were overwhelming favourites with the viewing public for the half year to December 05.
In a statement accompanying the release of the Company's Interim Report, TVNZ said it was delighted to note that TV ONE and TV2 won all but two of the top 50 highest rating series for all viewers aged over 5 years.
32 of the series were broadcast on TV ONE, and 16 were broadcast on TV2.
Fair Go and ONE News were first and second respectively on TV ONE, and Desperate Housewives was third on TV2.
Board Chairman Craig Boyce said it was pleasing to see such clear evidence that what TVNZ had to offer was welcomed and appreciated by New Zealand television audiences.
