Comprehensive Around-the-World Options from Emirates and Air Tahiti Nui
Award-winning airlines Emirates and Air Tahiti Nui have combined to provide competitively-priced around-the-world fares from New Zealand for all three classes of travel.
Both airlines offer a full first class product from New Zealand as well as business class and economy.
Chris Lethbridge, Emirates' New Zealand manager, said: "The fares are perfect in that they allow a variety of options through the Pacific and USA as well Europe, Dubai, Asia and Australia. Both airlines are renowned for their quality service and modern wide-bodied aircraft, so we see it as a winning combination for customers."
A sample itinerary could see a traveller flying Auckland-Papeete-Los Angeles-Paris-Dubai-Melbourne-Auckland. Emirates operates direct between Dubai and 20 cities in Europe (including five UK airports, Paris and Nice) and passengers can be carried to or from any of these 20 destinations under the round-world fares, as long as they fly into or out of Paris on Air Tahiti Nui.
Travellers can also fly from Auckland or Christchurch to New York without having to go through either Europe or Los Angeles.
"There are many combinations available and they can make round-world travel more convenient for business flyers, or more interesting for those on leisure trips," said Mr Lethbridge.
Fares are attractively priced at $2,999 for economy class, $8,999 for business class and $12,999 for first class, exclusive of fuel surcharges, taxes and levies (which will vary according to each itinerary).
Six stopovers are permitted, provided there is no back-tracking, and the fare allows for the journey to be completed within 12 months from the starting flight.
The airlines offer excellent stopover programmes in their respective bases, Dubai and Tahiti.
