New Zealand Credit Professional Of The Year Winners Announced
Auckland, 9 March 2006, The New Zealand credit and finance industry celebrated its professionals and their achievements
at a Gala awards ceremony held in Auckland on the evening of 9 March 2006.
The New Zealand Credit and Finance Institute (NZCFI) and Baycorp Advantage hosted the awards Vicky Montgomerie from
Wiri Timber, Auckland is the 2005 NZCFI Credit Professional of the Year award winner for her outstanding professionalism
and knowledge of the credit process.
Tanya Clifford from Click Clack Ltd, Palmerston North is the 2005 Young Credit Professional of the Year winner,
ensuring Palmerston North scooped honours for this award for the second year in a row.
Ms Montgomerie commented “I am delighted to have received this prestigious award which is a great way of acknowledging
the level and achievements of credit professionals within the industry.”
John Roberts, NZ Country Director, Baycorp Advantage, said of the event: “we are proud to be the major sponsor of this
event which provides a great opportunity to acknowledge the achievements and talents of credit professionals and, in
turn, to enhance the profile of the credit and finance industry as a whole.”
All candidates underwent a rigorous selection process before a judging panel led by Stella Hewitt, National President of
the NZCFI. Stella was supported by Nigel Le Sueur, Legal & Field Services Manager for Baycorp Advantage and Grant Aislabie, Solicitor, as the independent judge. The criteria for
the 2006 awards, including submission dates and information, will be released in August 2006 on-line via the
www.nzcfi.org or www.baycorpadvantage.com website.
