Two new executives at Hyundai
Further executive appointments have been made at Hyundai as the brand continues its strong growth in New Zealand.
Lee-Ann Harding joins the Operational Management team as National Sales Manager and Brin Standeaven has been appointed Commercial Manager.
Ms. Harding will work with Hyundai’s nationwide dealer network to guide the brand’s booming retail sales.
She comes to Hyundai Automotive NZ from Southern Cross where she was responsible for the successful introduction to the retail market of the Activa health card.
Prior to that Ms Harding launched Superbank to the New Zealand market, a joint venture between Foodstuffs NZ and St George Bank, Australia. She was with Shell NZ before this.
Mr. Standeaven has been with Hyundai for six years as Financial Controller.
His new role also embraces administration and IT responsibilities as well warehousing and logistics as the company moves to contracting of its parts operation for Hyundai and another vehicle brand.
“These are exciting times at Hyundai with sales continuing to climb and the brand consolidating its mainstream status in New Zealand,” commented the Managing Director of Hyundai Automotive NZ, Philip Eustace.
“As we introduce compelling new models, New Zealanders increasingly come into our dealerships to see them and whole new sections of the driving public become Hyundai owners.”
“That puts extra emphasis on the importance of our executive team as we plan the brand’s future, and these appointments reflect the ongoing strengthening of our capacity,” said Mr. Eustace.
